With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Douglas Fontenot of Sulphur, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Fontenot and Thelma Fontenot; his siblings, James Fontenot (Patricia) and Nancy Spell (Huey); his father-in-law Levi Pearson; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Breaux, Stuart Pearson, II and Tom Wolfe.
He is survived by: his wife Stephenie Pearson Fontenot of Sulphur; his daughter Heidi Renee Fontenot Newton (Devin) of Denham Springs; his pet Ares; his sisters, Mary Catherine Hughes (Frank) of Hackberry and Norma Louise Breaux of Scott; his mother-in-law Sissie Swire of Carlyss; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Pearson (Susan) of Carlyss, Kathleen Wolfe of Pea Ridge, AR and Cynthia Scheufens (Greg) of Carlyss. He is also survived by many cousins that were truly his friend and nieces and nephews.
