He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Jacobs and Ada Jacobs; and his former life partner Carolyn "Connie" Jacobs. He is survived by : his wife Renee Dugas Jacobs; his children, Cheryl Bernard, Christy Anaker (Michael), Chelsie Viator (Chad) and Wayne Pomes (Samantha); his stepchildren, Jason Dugas, Toni, Reginal Dugas, Amanda, Magdalene Dugas and Rebekah Dugas; and his brother Earl Jacobs (Delores). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
