She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Broussard and Alma Nunn Broussard; her siblings, Robert, Charles Ray Broussard and Carolyn Zerger; and her brother-in-law Allen Abshire.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Ray Stutes; her children, Jeff Stutes (Suzy) of McKinney, TX, Tony Stutes (Sandy) of Gray Court, SC and Tina Scroggins (John) of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Michael of Baton Rouge and Madison Scroggins of Baton Rouge; her sister Katie Ruth Abshire of Choupique, LA; and her siblings-in-law, Sarah Broussard of Choupique and Rex Zerger of Katy, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson and Robison Funeral Home (107 W Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (4822 Carlyss Dr, Sulphur, LA 70665). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, the American Diabetes Association (https://ad.doubleclick.net$%7BGDPR%7D;gdpr_consent=$%7BGDPR_CONSENT_755%7D;ltd=;dc_tdv=1), or a charity of the donor's choice.
