He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Henderson, Sr. and Glenndelene Coates Henderson; his sister Sharon Ann Downs; his parents-in-law, Bobby Fortenberry and Jean Bourgeois Fortenberry; and his sister-in-law Barbara Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Marie Fortenberry Henderson of Sulphur; his daughters, Kristi Folse (Chad) of Sulphur and Katy Wescott (Bobby) of Sulphur; his grandchildren, Taylor Dunn (Colin), Tiffanie Savage, Taylor Folse, Ryan Wescott, Logan Wescott and Hunter Folse; his pet Champ; his siblings-in-law, Robin Fortenberry of Ruston and Wyolene Davis of Sulphur; his nieces and nephews, Scott Downs, Bill Downs, Rusty Downs (Amy), Jeremy Gibbons (Rachel), Ashley Dufrense (Matt), Kelli Meyer (Chris), Beau Downs, Reese, Lilian Dufrense, Wesley and Claira Meyer; and his caregivers, Marie-Mai LeBlanc and Judy.
