We bid farewell to John Jewell of Sulphur, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2026 at the age of 76. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ferdinand II and Ann Sue Sasser Jewell; and his brother Jewell. He is survived by: his wife Gail Jewell; and his stepchildren, Brooke Harralson (Tyler), Doug Rivet (Olivia), Doanie Perry (Coby) and Ryan Doucet (Tracy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; as well as his birth mother and eight brothers.
