Though Lionel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lionel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Mestayer; his parents, Lionel Mestayer and Bernice Hoffpauir Mestayer; his siblings, Joell Morgan and Daniel Mestayer; and his granddaughter JoHelen Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Mestayer (Renee), Sondra Burnworth (Donald) and Latisha Lewis (Roger). He is also survived by his family, which includes 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
