He is survived by: his wife Hazel Cole; his children, Johnny Cole (Debra) of Summerville and Debbie Herndon (Ricky) of Sulphur; his siblings-in-law, Henry Yocum of Sulphur, Rickie Primm of Vinton, Ruthie Rojas of Baton Rouge, Katie LaPointe of Sulphur and Minnie Hickman of Vinton; his grandchildren, Chris Cole, Courtney Cole, Alan White (Jessica) and Alyssa Place; and his close friends, Michael and Kathy Cayton. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
