He was predeceased by: his parent Adlas Mire; his wife Sandy Mire; his mother Rena Trahan Mire; his son-in-law Keith Stewart; his brother Herman Mire; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Tevy.
He is survived by: his children, Gwen Stewart, Chris Mire (Lori) and Steven Mire (Tonya); his grandchildren, Lindsey Miller (Nicholas), Austin Mire, Andrew Mire (Ashley), Adelynn Domingue, Allie Guillory (Nick), Raylee Stewart, Aubre'Mire, Anndyn Mire and Arlie Mire; his great grandchildren, Kanon Primeaux, Waylon Mire, Brooks Guillory, Rilee Mire, Davis Guillory, Adeline Guillory and Grayson Miller; his sister Carolyn Tevy of Crowley; and his sister-in-law Lena Mire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson and Robison Funeral Home (107 W Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
