He is survived by: his mother Pamela Carlton of Sulphur; his children, Mark Carlton (Dawn) of Jackson, Brian Carlton (Katie) of Bowling Brook and Elizabeth Carlton of Jackson, Tennessee; and his siblings, Maryellen Collins of Sulphur and Scott Carlton of Lake Charles.
