He was predeceased by : his father Melvin Hayes; and his grandmother Anna Mason. He is survived by : his children, KeiriAnna Sperier (Trey), Lakisha Hayes and TeeJay Hayes (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Yaz'mine, Anthony, David, Kyla, Harper, Hunter, Paislee and Oaklee; his mother Sharon Doherty; his sister Desiree Johnson (Kurt); and his nephews, Darrell Martin and Devin Martin.
