Walter leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Walter’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Walter will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Andrew Watts and Dale Parker Watts; and his brothers, Leonard Ray Watts and William Andrew "Little Drew" Watts. He is survived by: his son Andrew "Drew" Watts (Marsha) of Sulphur; his sister Leta Beaugh (Jack) of Lafayette; his grandson Landon Marcantel (Saige); and his great grandchild River Marcantel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home (2051 E Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
