He is survived by: his wife Kay Brooking Harris of Sunset; his children, David Shane Harris of Carencro, Mark DeWayne Harris of Rayne, Melanie Kathleen Goins of Sunset and Briana Elizabeth Huff (Dylan) of Lexington, SC; his grandsons, Dylan Huff, Jack Huff, Ethan David Huff and Hayden Edward Harris; and his sister Carolyn Faye Janchez of Rossville, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
