He is survived by: his significant other Lorraine Melanson; his sons, Adam Godfrey of New Orleans and Aaron Henderson of New Orleans; his daughter-in-law Angela Godfrey of Baton Rouge; his siblings, Albert Richard Godfrey, Sr. of New Orleans, Emile Anthony Godfrey, Sr. (Brenda) of Irvin, TX and Ann Godfrey Williams (Izell) of New Orleans; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Godfrey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
