She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrick Burleigh and Amie Burleigh; and her siblings, Charles Burleigh, Calvin Burleigh, Rodney Burleigh, Maxine Howard (Roy), Della Thibodeaux and Delores Burleigh.

She is survived by: her husband Elwood Joseph Menard; her daughter Melissa Vanover (Chad); her grandchild Seton Amie Vanover; her brother Darryl Burleigh; and her sister-in-law Jane Burleigh.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
