She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Barker and Ida Smith Barker. She is survived by: her son Christopher Barker of Sunset; and her siblings, Elizabeth Barker of Sunset, Laura Faulk (Sydney) of Lafayette, Agatha Broussard (Rodney) of Lafayette, Charlotte Ard of Lafayette, Linda Francis of Duson, Pamela Barker of Houston, TX, Francis Barker, Jr. of Carencro, Carl X. Barker (Roxanne) of Youngsville and Jerome Barker (Janet) of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
