She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Mouton and Genevieve Duplechain; and her brother Curley Mouton. She is survived by: her husband Russell J. Meche of Sunset; her sons, Brett J. Meche (Sophie) of Sunset and Chris Meche (Gale) of Carencro; her grandchildren, Lacey Richard (Nick) of Carencro and Tristin Meche of Carencro; her great grandchildren, Ryker and Colson Richard; her sisters, Linda Mouton of Carencro, Cindy Bajat (Sammy) of Carencro and Mitzi Delahoussaye (Darrell) of Coteau; and her sister-in-law Linda St. Clair Mouton of Sunset.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
