He was predeceased by : his parents, Edmond Guidroz Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor Guidroz; his son Justice Guidroz; his brothers, Larry Guidroz and Edmond Guidroz Jr.; his parents-in-law, Sylvia Marie Sibille Dodge and Harold Aaron Dodge Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Dodge and Maria Dodge Munoz.

He is survived by : his wife Lillian Dodge Guidroz; his sons, Jed Guidroz and Spencer Taylor (Courtney); his sisters, Lisa Guidroz (David) and Lydia Guidry (Joseph); his grandchildren, Austin Richardson, Lathan Vaughn and Wells Taylor; his great grandchild Anaya Richardson; his siblings-in-law, Aaron Dodge (Janet), Tim Dodge (Darren), Annette Dodge (Joe), Andrea Istre (Kenny), Angela Holstead (Billy) and Effie Robin; and his friends, Bob and Joan Provnzano. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Cathoilc Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541).
