She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Lynn Townsend and Bobbie Nell Townsend; and her son Jason Garlington. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Garlington of Swartz; her son Rob Garlington of Monroe; her grandchildren, Garret Garlington of Monroe, Abbey Garlington of Monroe and Ella Garlington of Monroe; and her siblings, Karen Rawls (Aubrey Rawls) of Eros, LA and Tim Townsend of Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
