It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Earl Shivers Jr. (Tallulah, Louisiana), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl Shivers, Sr. and Helen Waters Shivers; his wife Tiki Shivers; and his son James Earl "Jimmy" Shivers, III. He is survived by: his son Shannon Shivers (Angel); his daughter-in-law Laura Wilder (Lakey); his grandchildren, Amanda Shivers, Jes Shivers Luke Shivers (Elizabeth), Shan Shivers (Laura Leigh), Brelynne Richarson (Max), Seth Shivers, Rayley Fortenberry, Caleb Wilder, Hannah Wilder and Laken Wilder; and his sister Tommette Shivers. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parkview Baptist Church (104 Kimbrough Blvd, Tallulah, LA 71282). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Shivers Family Cemetery.
