It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mitchell Goss of Tallulah, Louisiana, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Sylvia Franz. He is survived by: his daughters, Christi Purvis (Robert), Sheila Mayberry (Dave) and Valerie Goss; his grandchildren, J. T. O'Dell, Kaitlyn O'Dell, Cody Thornton, John Curtis Thornton and Gracie Knight; his great grandchildren, Amelia King, Krewz Thompson and Bentley Cormier; and his pet Calico. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home (2 Crothers Dr, Tallulah, LA 71282). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
