He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite "Margie" Manning Freeman; his parents, Clair Rodemann Freeman and Walter Freeman; and his siblings, Jaqueline Rauch and George Mayer.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Maher (Kevin), Yvette Thomas (Marc Rabun) and Sheldon Freeman Jr. (Sara); his grandchildren, Keely, Hailey (Jake), Hunter, Olivia, Eric and Lee; his great grandchildren, Brody and Eleanor; and his siblings, Winston Freeman and Sylvia Bodenheimer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
