He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his mother Sadie Smith; his children, Alfred Smith, Jr. and Shantell Smith; and his sisters, Carolyn Banks (Austin) and Deborah Wiggins (Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
