She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Skains; her parents, Andrew C. Graves and Ora Lee Graves (Brown); her brothers, Billy C. Graves of Mart and Kenneth E. Graves of Longview, Texas; and her daughter-in-law Cyntia Skains of Thibodaux, Louisiana..
She is survived by: her sons, James M Skains, Ronnie G Skains and Stephen C Skains (Donna); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Jackson, Stuart Skains, Jessica Ray, Melanie Nash, Amy Griffith, Rebecca Martinez, April Russell and Jamie Helfrick. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
