Amelia G. Foret Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 10, 2023, at the age of 100, Amelia G. Foret of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul T. Foret; her parents, Edia Gaudet and Joseph Gaudet; and her sister Marie Louise Ledet. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Mona), Dr. Claire Foret, Professor Emeritus, Lafayette and Faye (John Thompson); her grandchildren, Kimberly Byrd, John Thompson, Jr., Niki Norton, Megan Foret and Alexis Barbera; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Byrd, Oliver Norton, Owen Norton and Brody Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Macular Degeneration Association or American Cancer Society.
