She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Daniel Tauzin; her parents, Armand Richard and Thelma Richard; and her sister Carolyn Richard Babin (late Melvin). She is survived by: her brother Gerald Francis Richard (Andre'e); her children, Douglas Paul Tauzin (Cindy), Mary Elizabeth Tauzin, Chistopher Gerard Tauzin (Ramona), Patricia Ann Tauzin Ber (Henry), William Mitchel Tauzin (Cindy) and Barbara Ann Tauzin Blake (late Daniel); her grandchildren, Jeffery Tauzin (Nekki), Renee'Tauzin Landry (Justin), Robert Waldmeier, Daniel Waldmeier, Michael Waldmeier (Melissa), Adam Tauzin (Lindsy), Rachelle Tauzin Wheeler (Ronnie), Andrew Tauzin, Brandon Ber, Stephanie Ber Silcox (Troy), Barbara Danielle Ber Hodge (Cory), Nicolas Ber (Amanda), Ashley Tauzin Giledo (James), David Tauzin, Matthew Blake, Joseph Blake (Bailey) and Teresa Blake Gachassin (Josh); her great grandchildren, Tyler Tauzin, Hayden Tauzin, Jillian Kreller, Adalyn Landry, Owen Landry, Ada Waldmeier, Alice Waldmeier, Levi Tauzin, Ainsley Tauzin, Katherine Tauzin, Abigail Tauzin, Porter Silcox, Merrick Silcox, Layla Silcox, Kylee Silcox, Abigail Hodge, Aiden Ber, Masen Ber, Maggie Ber and Oliver Ber; and her caregivers, Freida Sims, Dana Jacobs and Angela Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Thibodaux Funeral Home (104 St Patrick St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church - Chackbay (529 LA-20, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
Donations in her honor may be made to St. Joseph Manor or Haydel Memorial Hospice.
