It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Jarvis Andrews Sr. of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrews and Frances Jackson Andrews; and his siblings, Francis (Frank), John Jr., Robert Andrews, Mary Kolb and Emma Medamar.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kovar Andrews; his children, Benjamin Andrews, Jr., Marcus Andrews (Laura), Michael Andrews and Frances "Fran" McAllister (Wesley); and his siblings, Tim, Howard (Trevor), Charles, O. T. "Tex" Andrews (Linda), Doris Morris and Ann Newman (Leverne, Sr.). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association.
