While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ursin Bourg and Celestine Gautreaux Bourg; and his siblings, Russell Bourg, Harris Bourg, Munson Bourg, Irene Bertrand and Thelma Benoit.
He is survived by: his wife Adeline Breaux Bourg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church - Chackbay (529 LA-20, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Heart Association in his memory.
