He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcee "Ces" Zeringue and Rena Bourgeois Zeringue; his brother Mike Zeringue; and his sons-in-law, Monty Boudreaux and Gene Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Plaisance Zeringue; his children, Mark Zeringue (Myra), Kevin Zeringue (Judy), Denise Fournier (Dean), Laurie Nichols, Kathy Boudreaux and Lisa Gervais (Ken); his siblings, Alcee Zeringue III (Sonny) and Connie Thibodaux; and his caregiver Natalie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
