She was predeceased by: her husband Kermit R. Smith; her son Troy Smith; her parents, Emile Bourgeois and Brigitte Bourgeois; her grandchild Kerrie Hinkley; and her siblings, Francis, Joseph Paul, Emile, Jr., Guy, Ondine Bourg, Beatrice Scott, Emilene Bourgeois and Mae Bourgeois.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy McGehee, Vicky Exely and Toni Myers; her daughter-in-law Charlotte Smith; her grandchildren, Wendy Exely, John Gray, Rae Thompson and Stuart Smith; her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Gray, Storie Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Frances Smith and Noah Smith; and her brother Godfrey Bourgeois.
