She was predeceased by: her mother Gertie Mae Young; her great grandchild Aydin Paul Young; her grandmothers, Gertie and Lillie Mae Young; her aunt Barbara Gaines; and her friend Cleveland Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Jamie), Audell, Brysin Young and Latricia Young (Hassan); her siblings, Cornell Young (Danielle), Troy Young, Sandy Young (Alvin), Jacqueline Joseph (Blake), Deanna Young and Monica Young; and her close friends, Mary, Frank Miles, Marlene Barrio and Steven Jackson. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams & Southall Funeral Home (1204 Cleveland St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
