She was predeceased by : her parents, Earline Benoit and Francis Benoit; and her sister Janet Boudreaux. She is survived by : her husband Thomas "Tommy" Hymel; her daughter Kristy Smith (Adam); her grandchildren, Asher and Noah Smith; and her siblings, Cheryl Duet and Vernon "Cookie" Benoit.
