He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hartman and Lillie Mae Charles; and his grandparents, Jane Locket Hartman, Lillie Welsh, Corrine Charles and Albert Hartman (Claude Welsh).
He is survived by: his former wife Schwann Charles; his children, Ryan LeBeouf (Bianca), DeShaune Charles, James Robinson, Jr. (Crystal), Ceanna Charles, Alaisha Charles, Lauryn Johnson and Daija Randolph; his siblings, April Ayers (Paul), Yashaica Hertzock (Honda), Precious Joseph, Sonja Henry, Brent Charles (Dana), Bennie Charles (Charlene) and Michael Powell (Toya); and his cousins, Frankie, Deanna Smith and Twanna Harrison.
