He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Darden Martin; his parents, Edwin Charles Martin, Sr. and Margaret Roundtree Babin; his stepfather Munson Babin; and his brother Barry Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Martin (Jeri), Doug Martin (Twilla), Tommy Martin (Denise), Melissa Cortez (Leroy) and Myra Martin; his grandchildren, Megan Boudreaux, Jared Martin, Brooke Dempster, Sarah Martin, Kayla Sweatman and Kaitlynn Martin; and his stepsiblings, Geraldine Clement and Gerald Babin. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
