We announce the death of Elizie Granier of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Granier, Sr. and Lovincia Landry Granier; his sister Lois Rodrigue; his in-laws, Armant and Mina Murry; and his siblings-in-law, Louis "Ya" Murry, Dianne Granier and Rose Bourgeois.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Murry Granier; his son Dwayne Granier (Mary); his siblings, Bobby Granier (Susan), Alice Falgoust (Daniel), Isabelle Oubre (Douglas), Linda Green (Dan), Harry Granier, Jr. (Gale), Joyce Stein (Richard), James "Jimmy" Granier (Connie) and Clayton Granier (Katherine); and his siblings-in-law, Erkle "Jerry" Rodrigue, Jessie Granier and Agnes Murry.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church - Chackbay (529 LA-20, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
