She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence P. Jackson, Sr. and Dorothy Jackson; and her siblings, Melvin, Raymond, Henry, Jimmy, Lawrence Jackson, Jr., Rosalie James and Mary Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwayne Jackson, Dwight Jackson (Amber), Derrel Jackson and Terrel Jackson; her sister Lorraine Jackson Ellis; her grandchildren, Teraliyah Jackson, Jamarius Coleman and Demetrius Davis; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Jackson and Warren Bartley; and her godchild Kederick Jupiter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia United Methodist Church (128 Johnson Ridge Ln, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
