We bid farewell to Eugene J. Richard of Thibodaux, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linton C. Richard and Inez R. Richard; and his stepmother Bessie G. Richard. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette L. Richard; his children, Adrienne R. Cortez (Bart), Anne R. Savoie (Aaron), Philip Richard (Amy), Miriam R. Jackson (Chris), Mary Grace R. Gravois (Alex), Catherine R. Caillouet (Martin) and Stephen Richard (Billie); and his brothers, Francis Richard (Helen) and Wade Richard (Lolla). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
