He is survived by: his wife Therese Folse Legendre; his children, Ricky Legendre (Kay), Mickey Legendre (Regina) and Kim Boudreaux (Dale); his grandchildren, Kristen, Kade Legendre, Dylan Legendre, Tyler, Hunter Legendre, Elliott and Ethan Boudreaux; his daughter-in-law Ada Legendre; and his sisters, Loretta Elliott, Imogene Chauvin, Leila Legendre and Ruth Thornhill. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
