He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rothman and Mable Rothman; his siblings, Frank, Wayne, Phillip Rothman, Mercedis Andras, Edna Morgan, Mamie Gagneaux, Lottie Duet and Hazel Malbrough; and his grandson Michael Rothman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ordoyne Rothman; his children, George Rothman, Jr. (Tabitha), Chad Rothman (Anita), April Rothman Hebert (Arron) and Tina Chiasson; his son-in-law Chris Hebert; his grandchildren, Brad Rothman (Kathryn), Brandi Rothman, Drey Rothman (Tiffany), Chelsea Rothman (Austin), Austin Hebert (Kira), Kristalyn Hebert, Dalton Marchbanks, Jasper Rothman, Nevaeh Rothman, Heaven Rothman and Jeremiah Rothman; his great grandchildren, Waylon Thibodaux, Westin Thibodaux, Cerridwen Rothman, Jamiah Walker, Mia Walker and Henrietta Rothman; his siblings, Ronald Rothman, Marie Halford, Clara Spears and Linda Rothman; and his caregivers, Mindy Thibodaux, Sean and William. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ordoyne Funeral Home (1489 St Patrick St, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
