She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Michael Ledet, Sr.; her parents, Francis Ougel and Lena Duplantis Ougel; and her sisters, Engora Verdin, Leola Brossette and Audrey Callahan.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Ledet Morvant (Carl), Melvin Ledet Jr. (Kathy), Tim Ledet (Kathleen) and John Ledet (Angie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Holy Rosary Cemetery (12911 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373).
