It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Sanchez Hebert of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Hebert; her children, Katie Hebert, JoAnn Hebert, Patricia Adair and Norman Hebert; and her siblings, Nelson Sanchez, Bob Sanchez, Clifton Sanchez Sr., Theophile Sanchez, William Sanchez and Jeanne Gautreaux.
She is survived by: her children, Elvis Hebert Sr. (Roxanne), Teddy Hebert, George Adair and Bessie Hebert (Curtis); her sister Nancy Pitre; and her grandchildren, Jan, Elvis Jr., Scotty, Rockel, Steven, Seth, Haley, Torie, Gavin, Kirk, Mitzi, Kyle and David. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
