With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Pierre Blanchard of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elsie Blanchard, Clement Blanchard Jr., Lawrence Blanchard, Lee Roy Blanchard and Russell Blanchard; his wife Anne Marie Blanchard; his daughter Frances Louise Mayes; and his father Robert Cavalier.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Blanchard Luke, Eugene Blanchard, Mervin Blanchard, Gus Blanchard (Betty) and Kelly Blanchard; his sister-in-law Ann Blanchard; his children, Beverly Sue Mayes Howard (Patrick), Gail Elina Blanchard Edwards (Banks) and Neil Paul Blanchard (Mary); his grandchildren, Angela Marie Howard, Stacey Louise Howard Bernard (Jace), Jason Patrick Reed-Edwards (Leah), Michael Charles Blanchard (Katherine), Jessica Lynn Blanchard Hardesty (Eric), Ashley Arlene Blanchard Hartman (Theodore) and Rachael Anne Edwards Johnson (Jeremy); and his stepgrandchildren, Banks Edwards III (Pam) and Cynthia Edwards Grant. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
