With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James W. Jackson D. Sr. (Thibodaux, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Long Jackson, MD of Intern's Quarters; his children, James William, Jr., John Guider "Jack" (Alma), Stacy Ann (Bubbie), Edward Ray, II, Mary Zita "Mitzi" (Nolan) and Courtney Carol "CeCe"; his grandchildren, James William, III, Carolyn Ann "Cara", Abigail Lauren "Abby" (Jacob) and Elizabeth Renee "Lizzie"; his stepgrandchildren, Lan (Mollie), Jesse, Taylor (Dan), Ross, Rachel, Nolan, Jr. and Allie (Bernard); his sister Janet Hughes; his sister-in-law Zita Sandmeyer (Richard); and his parents, Lillie Veronica Mathews and Edward Ray Jackson. He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
