It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Harvey Green of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Katharine G. Sandry Green and Harvey Lye Green of Louisville; and his brother James "Jim" B. Green of Houston, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Allene Anderson Green of Knoxville, Tennessee; his children, John William Green (Annmarie Banchy) of Wellington, Florida and Karen M. Green Smith (Guy M. Smith) of New Orleans, Louisiana.; and his grandchildren, Daniel Green of Seattle, Michelle Green of Florida, Winston, Kate Smith of New Orleans and Matthew Daniel Hadorn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NSU Foundation in memory of John H. Green.
