He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hymel and Rosabelle Thibodaux Hymel; and his brother Timmy Hymel. He is survived by: his son Kevin Hymel (Starr); his grandson Landon Hymel; and his siblings, Bruce Hymel and Sheila Hymel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Genevieve Catholic Church (815 Barbier Ave, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
