She is survived by: her children, Lionel Brooks (Nicole), Lyndell Brooks, Donald Brooks (Lynell), Stacie Brooks, Raven Brooks-Wilson (Travis), Randy Brooks (Sharonda) and Sandy Brooks; and her siblings, Irvin C. Brooks, Mary Brooks-Avery and Deola B. Skidmore. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
