He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Heather Gaudet; his parents, Philbert, Jr. Trosclair and Ida Fonseca Trosclair; and his siblings, Abel, Mervin, Fleming Sr., Freddie, Irvin, Philbert III, Lydia Allemand, Emily Cheramie, Shirley Bonvillian, Pearl Bourgeois, Joyce Hebert and Lois Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Trosclair Gaudet (Marcus), Anthony Trosclair (Ann), Steve Trosclair (Arlene) and Keith Trosclair (Monica); and his brother John Trosclair (Judy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild on the way; two step great grandchildren.
