It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazel Clement Borne of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Labadieville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Borne; her grandson Blake Borne; her parents, Clinton Clement and Viola Percle Clement; and her siblings, Allen "Junius" Clement, Clinton "CJ" Clement, Tracy Clement Naquin and Faith Clement.

She is survived by: her sons, Barry Borne (Buffy) and Jeffrey Borne (Beth); her grandchildren, Brittney Borne, Macy Borne and Alisia Borne Clement; and her great grandchildren, Esaias Borne, Jayden Clement and Jasmyn Clement.
