It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Iris Johnson of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on October 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Helen and Issac Johnson, Jr.; her brother Ronald Johnson; and her grandparents, Amy, Calvin Every, Sr., Gertrude, Issac Johnson, Sr. and Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Malik Coleman (Brianne) and Malayshia Walls; her grandchildren, Marcio and Montu'Coleman; and her friend Rysa Triggs. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moses Baptist Church (1032 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
