He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Gros Clement; his parents, Inez Avet and Samuel Clement, Sr.; and his siblings, Merril Clement, Brenda Clement, Samuel Clement, Jr., Ann Black, Claire Shinn and Ronald Clement.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Clement (Claire), Scott Clement and Wendy Winkeler (John); his grandchildren, Dustin Clement (Lauren), Alex Clement, Anna Winkeler and Jacob Winkeler; his great grandchildren, Olivia Clement and Elliot Clement; and his sisters, Amelia Heck (Carl) and Janet Toups (Mike).
