He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Morvant and Ella Clement Morvant; his siblings, Wilton Morvant, Clifton Morvant, Wesley Morvant, Jules Morvant, Vernice Lirette, Madlyn Chiasson and Arrise Fajardo; and his parents-in-law, Louis "Jack" Mahler and Lois Cazenave Mahler.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Mahler Morvant; his daughters, Gwen Levron (Audie), Rebecca Bourgeois (Josh) and Rhonda Pontiff (Greg); and his grandchildren, Dr. Ben Levron, Lauren Pontiff Hemstreet, Race Bourgeois, Madison Pontiff and Max Bourgeois. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren.
